Swan Lake Update 9 (2201.9.0) has arrived and includes a new set of features and significant improvements to the compiler, runtime, library, and developer tooling. Download Ballerina today or update your existing installation using the Ballerina Update Tool.

Ballerina at WSO2Con 2024

Earlier this month, WSO2Con 2024 took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. It was a 3-day event packed with inspiring keynotes, insightful tutorials, and several thought-provoking sessions on API management, integration, identity and access management, and cloud native application development.

On the first day, dedicated to tutorials, our team provided Ballerina tutorial attendees with an understanding of Ballerina's role in integration. We demonstrated how to design and implement REST APIs for integration, led a discussion on designing and implementing GraphQL services, and offered an overview of data integration with Ballerina. On day two, the first day of the conference, we had three insightful tracks:

Ballerina Platform Architect, Sameera Jayasoma took the stage with an interesting session on why you should consider Ballerina for your next integration.
Chathura Ekanayake demonstrated how to modernize legacy systems using Ballerina.
Bennett Reddin Founder of VisualizeHR, Inc, provided an overview of how his organization utilizes Ballerina to architect a cloud data platform.
